The Saskatoon Poverty Reduction Partnership (SPRP)
Established in 2008 in response to the Saskatoon Health Disparities report from the Saskatoon Health Region, the Saskatoon Poverty Reduction Partnership is a partnership of advocacy groups, NGOs and regional representatives from human services organizations in Saskatoon working towards reducing poverty through evidence-based policy and program changes.
Its work helped inform the Saskatchewan Poverty Reduction Advisory Committee report a few years ago, and it continues to work locally and provincially to advocate for these changes, including basic income programs.
