The Saskatoon Poverty Reduction Partnership (SPRP)
Established in 2008, the Saskatoon Poverty Reduction Partnership is a partnership of advocacy groups, NGOs and regional representatives from human services organizations in Saskatoon working towards reducing poverty through evidence-based policy and program changes. The partnership is based on mutual commitment to multi-sectoral and sustainable poverty reduction in Saskatoon, and is currently engaged with the work of the United Way (Saskatoon and Area).
United Way’s involvement with the SPRP has led to the development of 12 Bold Ideas to Eliminate Poverty in Saskatoon. Working together with our community partners, our goal is to move people out of poverty, into sustainable healthy situations, where their basic needs can be met.
